From her rootin', tootin' roots in the Rocky Mountains of Montana to Scotland, her home
since 1987, Linda blends the best of frontier spirit with Old World tradition.
Her first stories, The Songs of Montana told in song, the true stories of gold miners and outlaws, native peoples and fiery pioneer women. Whilst training for the Methodist ministry she co-founded the highly acclaimed Lost & Found Storytellers who travelled East Coast America with stories of faith and love. Romance and a passion for stories brought her to Scotland in 1987 where by 'eye to eye, mind to mind, heart to heart' she has learned much of the best of Scottish story and song. Exchanging and gathering stories wherever she travels worldwide, her repertoire now circles the globe. Ordained in 1992, Linda's full-time freelance performing and training work is now recognised by the Methodist Church who call her their 'minister in storytelling'. |
